Shadows of the Republic (SOTR) is a collection of quests for the 2d12 TTRPG Moss, Stone & Steel, set primarily in The Understates—subterranean colonies beneath the western islands of Barantine. These corrupt territories, under the rule of the Republic of Barantine—the largest and most prosperous land in Westland—thrive on trade and diplomacy yet remain vulnerable to hidden threats from envious adversaries. SOTR: The Shadow Legion, is a low level adventure, ideal for beginners, or for GMs to use as a side-quest. It is also compatible with other TTRPG game systems.

ADVENTURE SUMMARY

The party have been chosen by Senator Paladus Tandrillo – one of the governors residing in the palaces of Elysium of Onker above ground, who is seeking adventurers preferably unknown to Onker but brave enough to venture below and put an end to The Shadow Legion. He has connections who claim a soldier of the Shadow Legion has defected and has information on their latest endeavour. After the party investigate the Shadow Legion based on the informant's knowledge, they should return to him at his palace in Elysium, to await a reward of 30 gold crowns.
