Moss, Stone & Steel: The Stolen Maidens

UMBRIAN NIGHTS is a collection of intriguing adventures that take place in the land of Umbria: a land of knights and chivalry. The Stolen Maidens is a Level 3 adventure for two to four adventurers, and is aimed to be a one shot quest.

Sodian raiders have assaulted a small village in Silvermount called Hawfern, slaughtering the fighting men and abducting the fleeing villagers, including the two daughters of the local lord who had both been horse riding in the fields nearby when the sodians attacked. The local lord, Danver Carthen is rewarding the adventurers 50 gold crowns for their bravery in finding the abductor's camp, freeing the prisoners and returning his daughters, while he rallies his men to his keep after hearing of another sodian raid in his land marching to assault his castle. Additionally, he is offering a further 30 gold for delivering the head of the leader of the sodians who raided the village.

The adventurers will need to track the location of the camp through treacherous terrain, free the prisoners and the daughters from the grip of the sodian raiders with no or minimal casualties.
